I used 100g of henna from Catherine and mixedthat with lemon juice until it seemed like the right consistancy. Then I threw in some cloves to improve the smell. I let that sit overnight and then added some more water to get the right consistancy for application. I applied it in my shower to make mess clean up easier. It looked like I had a major craptastic event in the shower after I had it applied. I think 100g was more than enough for my hair but I put it all on anyway. I discovered I was out of cling wrap to wrap my head with so I used a plastic grocery sack which worked fine and fit well. I'm pretty sure I am going to have orange ears even though I did my beast to not get the henna on them and wiped it off quickly. Please tell me it will fade fast! I'm a little worried about that. My head felt cool and tingly about 10 minutes after I put the henna on. Now it is warm and tingly because I wrapped my head in a warm towel. It's not a burning but a very nice tingly scalp feeling.I did dribble on my body and didn't get it wiped off soon enough so I have some orange blotches on my chest, shoulders and back. I think next time this is going to be a two person job. Now, I sit and wait! Jaime
