Help! turkish henna, the copper is in an extra jar!Posted by Francesca Hertzsch on July 21, 2004 at 15:22:30: Hi everyone,I have a question about using this henna. I have been using chemical dyes for a while (about 3 years), last year in august I had a color correction done, which didn't work. In october of last year I used hennalucent and it worked pretty well, and the last time 2 1/2 months ago, I tried to highlight my hair at home (which was a disaster) and dyed over it with colorsilk, ammonia free permanent hair color (which i had been using for a while). In october of last year, my husband and I bought this henna product calle goekcehan in a little turkish store in germany and I haven't used it, because I wasn't sure if I could. I have been reading through the forum, to find out if I could use it on my chemically treated hair. The ingredients are: Natural henna (which is in its own clear bag, green powder); sulphuret of copper (dark brown) (I assume to make it dark brown, it appears to be in its little own jar, it looks like coal); bonnet; gloves; mixture of natural plants in its own pouch (walnutshell, walnut leaf, fruits of baytree, bay leaf, aleppo oak, Clove, Roof of soapwort, stinging nettle leaf, myrtle leaf) I want my hair to be thick and if possible dark or medium or light, brown if possible with no red in it. I think dark brown would be my best bet with henna and no red, but I don't know, I'm confused. My hair is now medium to light brown with traces of gold (which I also like) and strawberry. Please help me. : ) As you canh see I'm not so sure about what to do. Thanks in advance guys!
