I am dark blonde naturally, with very light blonde streaks. it took me a couple of applications before I finally lost the orange on my light streaks. it's all pretty much the same colour now, more like a dark purple (but still rather orange in sunlight), and I really don't like it. I didn't really realise before I did this how much I saw myself as a blonde, and having my hair so dark feel sort of, uhm, depressing ;-). I tried everything to make it more red without getting much darker, but it doesn't seem like that is possible. so, make sure you want to have much darker hair before you go for it. iris
