How to avoid clogged drains?

I'm sitting here with the second round of henna on my head (great
stuff, CCJ!) and I'm getting nervous reading about people clogging
their drains. I have no hose/outdoor spigot, nor do I have large
buckets or bowls to rinse outside. So, it's in the tub or nuttin' at
all. Any other recommendations to help my pipes? I'm using one of
Fia's gel mixes, if it matters.
