I have hair I can sit on, moderately thick, takes 500g henna. I haveno idea how, but the first time I actually managed to do it myself,
without having a clue about any of the clever techniques. The
bathroom survived intact despite being carpeted. Bloody miracle.
After that I got other people to do it, and it usually took 2 hours.
The two things I really wish I'd known about were sectioning the hair
and washing it off in the bath to begin with. Oh, and using loads of
conditioner. And if I'd done dye release I wouldn't have had to wait
with all that heavy stuff on my head for so many hours either. Ok, I
can't count to two.
