When I did my friend's hair we left it on for only 45 minutes and itwas very black. Adding one or two beaten egg whites helped with the
sandy texture and made it stick a little more to the hair. The best
tip I can give is LAY DOWN while it's on your head, it drips like
mad and you'll be wiping constantly unless you lay on your back.
