I've not hennaed in four years!Posted by Elettaria on August 2, 2004 at 21:14:33: In reply to: Re: What exactly is foiling? posted by Nell on August 2, 2004 at 19:49:14: And I'm still growing it out. Another 6 months to a year and itshould be gone. (I have very long hair.) I'm just hennaing by proxy. Two victims so far, who will be written up when they send me their photos. If you don't want red, don't henna! That said, if you do like red henna is very lovely. (I gave up in the end because I'm disabled and 500g of henna was an awful chore, plus it wasn't really me.) Henna doesn't have to mean orange; there are plenty of people who are greying who henna and manage to get red. It also preserves the natural variation in colour of your hair, which looks much more natural. Autumn's hair will give you some idea, it's the kind of thing which is a little harder to photograph. Maxx's hair has a good close-up. And I'm glad I just looked at the Mixes page to check, as I hadn't spotted those newbies to add to the table.
