Which henna did she use? How long did she leave it on her hair for?

Have a snoop through the Mixes section, quite a few people are
hennaing over grey hair. Admittedly it's harder to get a deeper
colour on pure white hair than it is on hair which is only partially
grey. Have a look at Elektra's hair, that's about the nearest. She
managed to get a pretty dark auburn on greying blonde hair, using
henna and indigo.
