Aren't most of the acidic substances used in mixes antioxidants?Posted by ry on August 5, 2004 at 10:15:31: Wines, citric acids, fruit juices...they all have strong antioxidantproperties, right? Doesn't this interfere in some way with the oxidation and color uptake? I'm wondering because I'm suddely obsessed with the idea of coloring with henna and have been reading the archives, noticing that people were talking about pomegranate juice, a powerful antioxidant, as a potential color enhancer.
