You can get a dark brown by mixing henna and indigo and if you mix
in some rhubarb, you might get some gold highlights, but there is no
escaping red highlights. Seems like there was one mix in the mixes
section which achieved a dark brown using a herbal indigo. Look
there and see what others have done.
