something very weird happened with the indigo

Hi eveyone,Something really weird happened with my indigo.
I did a hairbrush test. I hennaed my light brown hair and added some
honey and cinnamon, after I let the dye release for 2 hours in the sun.
It added some red hues to my hair, but when I added the indigo (which
I let release dye for 15 minutes), after 45 minutes of being on the
hennaed test hairball, the color hardly changed, maybe a little
darker, but not really. I added a little bit of cinnamon and honey to
the indigo after letting the dye release with warm water, could that
be the problem?
It just makes no sense. does anyone know what could be wrong?
