it depends on how blonde you are exactly. I'm a dark blonde myself, with very light
bits near my temples, so light they are almost white. on the light parts, I do get that
carrot-colour, the rest is a rather deep dark red. just like with henna on skin, the
colour gets darker if you use better quality henna, and keep it on for longer. repeated
applications also help. finally, on hair you can try to add some indigo to make it
darker and less orange.
