Re: different henna powdersPosted by Alison on August 19, 2004 at 01:04:02: In reply to: different henna powders posted by Pam F. on August 18, 2004 at 13:04:52: : I don't wish to start a flame war or anything so if this does that: then would moderator please delete post! I am a beginner (as many : people here are) in all aspects of the use of henna. I am trying to : figure out the best type of powders to use both for hair and : beginner artist purposes (temp. tatoo art). Is it better to just : use the suppliers on this forum for beginners (who will undoubtedly : make many mistakes)...I have only tried two types of powders here! : What about the powders on the website "EverydayHenna" (sp?)... are : they as good of these here? Or is it taboo to talk about the henna : powders on other websites that are not from suppliers on here???? Certainly not taboo! Everyday Henna is a supplier on HP (hennapage.com, the mother site of this one), I do believe, so they have a quality product and few to none complaints to HP management on service (a good thing!). They mightn't be listed here because, um...they didn't ask? Don't really know. But I've read good things about them, and you should be fine. :I just noticed that they have allot of different named powders than : are what are on here with supposedly many different uses. Also am : curious about the Sam Yemen Henna....curiousity killed the cat, of : course! Why is it so hard to get his henna??? Very curious about : this problem....is it a shipping problem?? I guess that I am a : total dipshit for asking this question..consider the source or : course, please! thanks ahead. Apparently, while Yemeni henna is excellent in quality and sift, Sam himself is a bit of a...well...ditz. Late orders, shipments that don't come on time or at all, and the like from reading the HP forum. Therefore, prices for that henna are higher to cover the liability costs.
