For overprocessed or dry hairPosted by txilar on August 20, 2004 at 14:36:13: In reply to: Re: for starjumper: henna on platinum blonde hair posted by hennarunner on August 19, 2004 at 21:30:28: Hey hennarunner,Your hair is *beautiful*! Both pre and apres henna =) I was reading your link and thought I'd send you (and anyone else!!) a tip if you are interested. A long time ago I began sniffing Lavender oil in an attempt to help me sleep. Soon I added Jasmine oil to my sniff/pillow drip mix. I noticed an immediate and /miraculous/ change in my (at the time permed and rather dry) hair. My hair since is in excellent condition and doesn't need it, but anyone with processed or dry hair could benefit from the near holy grail quality of jasmine oil if they are inclined to allow something that expensive in their budget. It mixes *wonderfully* with coconut oil =) I know you said yours is back to it's natural state, but it's also lovely on the ends, which is what I do now, or the rare hot oil treatment. It also smells wonderful in the hair! peace, txilar : 'tis me! I wasn't sure if we could post links or not, sio I hope the : person I replied to earlier about "fading henna" sees this. Later, : once I am not typing 1-handed due to wet henna, I'll be happy to get : uot recipe, method, etc. if anyone is interested or concerned about : how blonde hair hennas
