I'm not the best judge of colors, but my gray sideburns went from light
red immediately after rinsing to medium red the next day, then to dark
red a day after the second coat.
If you added hot water, it should be ready in two hours. If you stir it
after two hours, maybe even one, you should see a contrast between
dark green and dark red, or something like that.
