Hey Crystal,I think it would be wise to wait a little and do some hairbrush tests.
There is not really a set time on how long to wait to henna over
chemically treated hair, so you should really do a hairbrush test,
that way you will know for sure how it will turn out and how long you
should leave it on.
To get brown you will have to add somwething to your mix, but you will
probably always have some sort of reddishness to it, unless you want
to go dark brown/black with indigo over henna.
Just have a look at the mixes section and see what you like, and just
experiment with some hairballs : ).
