neutral henna

my mom has a question:
do they EVER add any chemical additives into the neutral henna???

and we know that they add sand alot but is this harmfull for the
scalp in any way???

thank you so much catherine for making a site where everyone can ask
questions about this stuff, because without this site we would have
never thought of using henna and neutral henna and we would be
clueless about many things!!
