: Hi Diane!
:
: I've used saved frozen henna in my last two mixes, mixed in with
some fresh other
: stuff ... I thawed the frozen stuff in the microwave doing it like
melting chocolate, a
: lot of little bursts and stirring in between. Added it to hot,
fresh indigo the last time
: or two ... I didn't have any problem with doing it that way, or
applying my henna and
: indigo mixed at the same time ...
:
: I don't think mine has faded any as in gotten *lighter* ... just
less vibrant (which for
: me is good, looks a little more natural) ... much less of a shock
with the indigo in the
: mix, too ...

Hi Kim!
Thanks for the thawing info.
I am interested to hear you say that about the fading as you are a
curly girl also... I keep blaming my extremely porous curly hair for
the colour loss I notice ( assuming the colour maybe leaches out of
very porous hair???) which particularly bugs me in the first week
after I henna. I kept wondering all along if it was just the
oxidisation thing, but after just doing my 4th time, this time I am
SURE that the colour on day one is much deeper and darker than it is
after a few days oxidisation...doesn't make sense to me. Oh well.
Good to hear from you -- have you done your hair more times since we
last saw you here?
