hi there,
there is not much details as all went pretty smoothly (to my
surprise)!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i've got shoulder length, med brown,
curly/wavy hair,i've stopped using chemical dyes about 2 years
ago, thinking about trying henna but could not find help really, and
guts i suppose....to try without knowing anything about
it...anyway,the hairdresser told me to stop colouring because it was
killing my hair so i desperatly wanted to find out about henna and i
did only three weeks ago when i finally turned to the internet...

and well,i just mixed 100g of mehndi (from hennaboy that this site
recommends for uk)with two squeezed lemons and 25 drops of tea tree
oil,and boiling water to get the right consistency...left it covered
for 6 hours (did not see a great dye release but could not wait any
longer...)applied and wrapped it all with cling film and left for
three and a half hour ... it wasn't that messy, i was happy to see
that it rinses out easily in the bath tub and the vaseline did help
a lot... 48 hours later, and i hope it will stay that way,i've got
gorgeous auburn hair, with orangy highlights, the whole head shinnier
than ever, and of course, soft and conditioned...incredible...
i'm already ordering 500g more, just can't wait to do it
again,yes...definitly hooked...now the only thing is, should i
really leave the mix longer... and also,i would like to leave it
overnight, but what should i expect? the colour is already quite
intense in tones of orangy-red after three hours on hair,so is it
gonna go fiery orange or deeper red after the whole night,or is that
the maximum intensity maybe, and it won't make a difference wether 3
or 10 hours?
I really love it, i also enjoy the fact that i can pamper myself and
feel great during my pregnancy without worrying !!!
i'll be waiting for some advice for the next time (i might do it
again next week,...or is that too soon?)
many thanks for support!!!
x
vanessa
