Thatone's : actually verified microscopically. This means your single hair strand : is far less likely to split, break, get tired as it grows long. If : each hair is breaking off less, it appears go grow faster because the : growth rate is not diminished by breakage. Therefore, your hair : appears to grow faster. Did that make sense? The growth rate at the : generative base is not faster, but if you combine rate of growth with : weathering loss rate, you get much faster "net" growth with henna. : : also, hennaed hair tangles less when you brush it, so that favors : greater "net" hair growth rate. Yes that makes great sense. I will add that to my growing list of things I love about henna. By the way I am inspired by the state of your hair. I can't believe how gorgeous it is at the age of 50 somthing no less. I am growing mine out too, if its possible to have hair anywhere close to as nice as yours, why not? I used to buy into the mindset that once you reached your 40's you should keep it above the shoulders, but now I see what a load of rubbish that idea is! thanks for waking me up :) Valerie
