Most of the crappy (bright neon green) henna I've gotten has been
from India, not really surprising because I believe they export the
most. Many people who see my henna ask about "that indian thing" or
ask if I bought it at an indian store (here in Austin most stores
that have any henna only sell indian brands.) I don't have the
heart to tell them that in my opinion indian henna sucks. I just
smile and say, nope, it's from yemen, and I buy it online. Perhaps
you're luckier over there, or maybe they think americans are
stupider.

: I'm puzzled about something. I've heard so many stories about
henna
: that turned up full of green dye and sand, yet the ones I've
: encountered have never had anything of the sort involved. Is it
: different in the UK or something?
