in terms of hair condition you don't have to wait at all, because henna doesn't trash
your hair. you may want to give it a couple of days to see how the colour develops
though. the henna will oxidize, which will make it less orangey; and if the avigail
brown contained indigo (probably), you may want to wait and see how that develops
as well. indigo can be slightly green/greyish the first couple of days. it may also wash
out very quickly (always does for me). all in all, the colour you have now will be
different from the colour you have in a couple of days, if you do nothing.
the same (wait out how the colour develops) will apply to the henna you want to do
before you go back to work. with henna, it always takes a couple of days before you
see your 'final' colour.
