thank you!!Posted by gazel on September 4, 2004 at 04:06:55: thank you Larisa but i do not have hereditary hair loss!!! mygrandfather is 75 and has hair thick as a horses and all of the women from my moms side of the family had hair below thier butt, and her great great grandmother had hair down to the floor!! and from my dads side, well, lets just say that if they lost 90% of their hair they would still have more hair then the average person(my dady is arab, my mom is uyogoslavian) and i went to the number 1 known hair doctor in the middle east(6 months ago) and he said i was alergic to something that i used and that my roots were "choked". so i used this scalp liquid medication and everything got better like 2 months later. he also mentioned that henna was great, so i used it but it turnes out that there was dye in it so i stoped. and when i came to the states i orderd henna from starwest botanicals.com and used it ( 1 week ago i think??) and it sucked. the HENNA was what made my hair fall out, but it actually wasnt the hena but some strange dye that they put in it. yeah, it made my hair fall out alot but it gradually stoped(when i mean alot, i mean like more then what what was my usuall hair loss--25-50- and 100 when i washed)so like when i would brush it the first few times after using the star west hena i would loose 100-200, you know what i mean??? acording to MY body specifications it was alot. but in the waaaaaay begining(when i went to see the doctor) i was losing like 400 hairs, and the doctor said that i would loose 25% of my hair(in 2 months) but then suddenly like i said it stoped and it was doing better then ever!! until i used the crapy henna-- but like today i lost between 50-100. so i am happpy that it is doing better!!! and with each wash it gets better and better. thank God!!! so that is why i warned you about the starwest henna, becuase RIGHT before i put the henna on i combed and combed and combed and i lost like 50 hairs. the minute i washed it out and i washed my hair this big glob came out. but with each washing it got less and less. and now it is almost like normal again. but thank you again very much for willing to open up to me and help me with what you thought was baldness, i have to say though, when i read your first message i was like"OH MY! what IS this??????!" thaks again, and God bless you!!!:) p.s i lost a big glob yesterday because it was the first time that i washed my hair in syria again--- MAJOR water change~~~~ i went from a place that had "soft water" back to a country that has water as "hard" as heck!!!!!!!hehe! bye!!
