: My daughter and I did our first Cassia treatment. Followed the
: directions, globbed it on, put on saran wrap, waited 30 min.,
: rinsed, then shampooed and conditioned. It feels the best where my
: roots are (like velvet), otherwise the color-treated stuff feels
: like it does when I use a good conditioner. I don't know if it is
: more brilliant or not. I think it tamed down some of my highlights
: though. That's fine. Now the new growth won't be as obvious. Did
: I understand that one round of this stuff makes your hair keep
: growing out great? I hate to get back into highlighting, but the
: gray will drive me nuts and the dark blonde stuff too. I read the
: recipe for blonde highlights, but that is way too much time and
work
: for me (whine, whine). I don't think the shampoos that deposit
: color would be that great, as I am afraid of everything turning
: color (towels, my skin, my pillow) and that recipe only lasts from
: shampoo to shampoo. I think the lady looking for the same thing as
: me should do what she suggested -- invent a 100 percent organic
: product that lightens and covers gray! I'll be your first
: customer!!! Does anyone have any comments on the L'Oreal product
: entitled Spa Hydrant something? It is good for 28 shampoos.

That is its Casting ColorSpa. They are responsible enough to list
their ingredients [which Clairol's Natural Instincts no longer does,
btw], and if you look, you'll see that the product contains PPDs,
with all the caveats listed many times on this site.
