Jane,

Thank you for the advice recommending rhubarb root as giving a more
natural blonde color than tumeric. I will give it a try and soon as
I find some (they probably have it at Whole Earth Foods). I will
try something similar to the longer recipe that you gave, but will
modify it by reducing the amount of lemon juice, alcohol and
vinegar so as to avoid drying out my hair. Thank you for the great
post!
