Just water. It's not at all: like henna, it needs the water to disolve and oxidize. Henna releases : dye and needs something to help it, and indigo needs to oxidize to : dye. : It's crazy stuff. Not at all like henna. : L : : : I was wondering when you mix the indigo, do you also use lemon : juice : : for dye release? And can you use apple cider vinegar in henna and : or : : indigo instead of the lemon juice? Thank you. : : Valerie Thanks Loretta I posted earlier and it seems it didnt take which is good because I accidently addressed it to Annika anyway. What I was going to ask was since I am using up a box of mountain light dark brown its a henna indigo mix. how would I get a dye release without affecting the indigo. Any ideas on that one? thank you , Valerie
