Making Indigo Last longer-moving up

Erfan, wouldn't mixing henna and indigo dilute the color of indigo?

The best thing is to rinse youir hair before
hennaing/indigoing .Lemon juice or vinegar are both good(read
alissa´s post below) .Then to me occured that if you firsd
henna,then put a mix of henna/indigo(40/60) to your hair(of yourse
after you wash out the firsd round of henna).Henna with indigo mixed
together seem to stay longer.Indigo itself seems niot to bind,but
just coat the hair(differend to henna I think).The lemon /vinegar
rinse still will help the indigo to " stick" better.
Hope it helps.

Also,henna and indigo mixed together seem to give a much more
natural "blackish" then indigo itself.
