it's a 'dye enhancer'. it's supposed to give you a deeper colour. better to avoid it, I
think.
on oekotest.de they say 'Der Farbverstärker ist schwach sensibilisierend und
verändert das Erbgut.' i.e. it's 'weakly sensitizing' and 'changes the genome' (???). I'm
not sure what that means exactly, but it sounds ominous ;-)
you're better off using body art quality - you can use cloves as a dye enhancer if you
need one.
