I haven't been to the hairdressers, since I started hennaeing (about
5 months ago).. but today I went (just for a trim, mind!)..

I was ready to fight to the death, for my henna.. ready to stand up
to the mis-informed stylist (he's actually a lovely bloke & has been
doing my hair for years.. but we know what hairdressers can be like,
when it comes to henna! :op )

I sat down & he said 'wow.. lovely colour!'
I said, a little gingerly 'Thanks.. it's henna'
He said 'oooh, my wife used to henna her hair.. I bet you've really
noticed a difference in the condition of your hair'
He then went on to tell me all about how peroxide damages your hair,
by pushing your cuticles open, to let the colour in.. & how much
better henna is for your hair, because it's a vegetable dye & there
are no nasty chemicals!
Of course, I already knew this, but I'm so happy that my hair man is
pro-henna!

So, not all hairdressers are mis-informed about henna! :o)
