Thank you; I have 'Celtic' skin, but it's not usually particularly sensitive except to sun, so this was a bit of a surprise. It's not likely I can get rainwater here [too polluted], so do you think simply reducing the lemon:water ratio on the lemon side will do it? Or is there another form of acid I could use and still get good dye release? For instance, would a strong infusion of Red Zinger tea, plus a bit of lemon juice, be a good idea? Sorry to be so thick, I'm quite new to all this, so I very much appreciate the help.
