Lush Henna & Paprika question

hello all!I'm going to finish off my Lush 'Caca Rouge' and wondered if anyone
else had tried leaving it to sit for dye release? The result is okay
but not very bright (my hair is relatively mid-brown, but with henna
on it already.
My other query was about paprika: I'm sure that it would help to
make the colour brighter but I have no idea how much to use :-) I
got some 'refill' packs for the spice jars and my hair is near waist
length.
