: Just to add my two penneth! :o)
: I leave my henna mix on for around 7 hours (because it gives me a
: nicer colour, than if I only left it on for a couple of hours)..
: I use 50/50 lemon juice & grape juice.. then throw in some herbal
: tea, the next morning, to get it to the right consistency.. I also
: add a few drops of Lavendar EO (Lavendar's generally good for
: releiving skin irritations, though I don't know how much effect it
: would have in such small amounts)..
: I have sensitive skin, but I've never had any problems with my
lemon
: juice/grape juice mix :o)
:

: : I would think the problem was from the long exposure to lemon
juice
: : ... probably made your skin sensitive. If you're going to leave
: henna
: : on that long, might make a less acidic mix ... say, with
: rainwater.

: : I have problems with lemon juice and thin skin if I leave on my

: : art henna for 8 hours.

Thanks, Dionne - any particular kind of grape juice? You started off
blonde; I'm old mouse chestnut-grey, with leftover dyed copper
auburn. Would the grape juice result in burgundy, do you think?- I
love it , but on me it would look like an ageing tart! - Blessed
Equinox again, *)O(*
