A couple questions regarding henna and cassia...

So, I've done two full hennas now and I LOVE the color, but I am
having a few problems. Namely, that my hair is still dripping
slightly orange after washing two weeks later and because my natural
hair color is significantly lighter than the post-hennaed color AND
my hair grows about double the average rate (half an inch every two
weeks, sometimes more), I'm getting very noticeable roots at the two
week mark. I wouldn't mind having to do the roots every week so
much, except that with the constant orange dripping I am unable to
wear many of my lighter colored clothes. I've tried everything I
could think of - Washing with conditioner, soaking the hair in
multiple baths, using acv rinses... anything I am missing?

I also had a question for Catherine regarding the cassia. In your
experience does it give a comparable conditioning/shine effect to
henna, or is henna still superior in that regard? I get great
conditioning and fabulous shine from henna, so I'm finding myself in
a bit of a quandry now.
