dark dyed to blonde-help

hi there,
can anyone help me.i have naturally dark dark brown hair. since it
started geying i started dying it to cover the grey hairs. the past
year i decided to start going blond so that the grey hairs would not
show so much. of course the result is that i now have blonde hair but
the roots grow out dark brown with the gray hairs in it......i
haven't dyed the roots or my hair since about 2 months, and the roots
are about 2inches-3 in length. what must i do to be able to use only
henna. i think that even using henna the roots still come out with
gray hairs...can i start using the henna on the roots only and let it
grow out or what else ????
