It is probably indigo.

Just wait a while to see if the greenish brown liquid eventually
turns blue. The indigo will start off with a greenish tint that will
turn to blue with exposure to oxygen. It could be raw unfermented
indigo that won’t do anything either.

Indigo has an unusual herbal smell. I think that Catherine
Cartwright-Jones described it best as smelling of frozen peas.
