help!

Hi,
I just used "Light Muontain Natural" Burgundy color henna on my
medium to dark brown hair. I left it on for 4.5 hours and I washed
it. There is absolutely no difference. Sometimes I think I see
that it may be a little darker or a little shinier but I think it is
because I want to see those things... My husband thinks there is no
difference...

The henna was in powder form and green colored... Do you think it
was old ? or should I have left it on longer? I was expecting to
see some deep reds in my hair...

I followed the instructions but I didn't do the strand test... Who
has time to do the strand test for 5 hours... it looks like it
wasn't even going to change color anyway... I am kind of
frustrated...

any ideas? suggestions?
