Give it a few days and it'll keep darkening. Mine is one week out asof tomorrow and it has darkened quite a bit. Was VERY pumpkin like
when I first did it. I'd give it at least 1 week before redo-ing it
so it'll have a chance to oxidize. I'm fairly certain that's normal
for henna.
My sympathies (at least I live alone so no one saw until I wanted them
too!)
