I have no familiarity with Light Mountain Henna so I'm not sure what
their requirements are, but with body art henna, you have to mix it
with your stuff (lemon, water, terps, etc) and wait for dye release.
Mine released after about 3.5 hours. If you put it in a ziploc bag
and put the bag on a paper towel (or cover bowl with seran wrap and
put towel on that like I did) you'll see the paper towel turn light
orange and then you'll know the dye has released. Don't you have to
do this with LM henna too? I've only done mine once, so I'm
definitely not an expert but I know a bunch of people here use LM
Henna so I bet someone knows for sure.
