: Hi everyone,
:
: I am researching for my next trial of henna for my hair.
:
: I decided to buy the Jamilla brand of Henna. However I have no
idea
: how much to buy. The 100grams of the Light mountain stuff was not
: enough to cover my hair. I have layers in my hair and the longest
: come right about on top of my breasts when I hang it in the front.
: so maybe 200grams of Jamilla?
:
: I also noticed that it is just henna. There is no indigo in it.
: Since my hair is dark brown and I want to see some change this
time,
: I wonder if I have to add some indigo myself. But I have no idea
: where to buy it and how much to mix...
:
: any ideas..
:
: Thanks again...
:
: (sorry I keep asking so many questions... I am just so new at this,
: and I am absolutely terrified of making a collosal mistake.)

200g sounds about right as far as ammount goes. Jamila henna is good
stuff, and should give a nice colour. I wouldn't add indigo unless
you want brown with only a little tiny red in it, as indigo is a blue
stain (when mixed with henna it gives dark brown to black). Also,
please remember that henna cannot lighten your hair, so it will be
the same shade as now, maybe one darker, but redder.
