: I would like to know how long you can store fresh henna and fresh

there a
: way to know when henna is no longer fresh? Thanks.

It's best to store henna in air-tight, light-proof containers in the
freezer. I'm not sure on indigo. Fresh henna stored this way keeps
for atleast a year. The only sure-fire way I know to see if henna is
stale is to mix some and check if it releases any dye by placing the
mixed henna in a ziploc bag and the bag on a white paper towel or
napkin--if the paper turns orange after a while the henna's good!
