I don't think I would have ever tried MP if my hair wasn't hennaed,
which I realize sounds sort of convoluted. My hair is really thin,
and has always been on the weak side--ie, breaks easily. All the
shampoos and conditioners in the world that are supposed to help with
that never did a thing for me, but henna makes each hair a little
thicker (it feels like it, atleast) and stronger. I hennaed before I
bleached out the parts that got MP, and I know my natural hair would
have just broken off from the bleach. But, because of the henna, it
was strong enough to pull through!
