Splits are a fact of life

They're the result of mechanical wear and tear on the strands - whether it's beard or hairon the head. The longer the strands, the longer they've been around, the more prone they
are to splitting.
Gentle handling of the hair is usually the best way to reduce them. Henna helps to some
extent by making the strands stronger and less vulnerable to wear and tear, but it's not a
cure-all.
