Hmm how might I henna...if I don't have gloves?

I just had to toss my last pair of latex gloves. But I'm 'itching'
to henna again. How might I henna w/o getting my hands all orange??
I have no money for gloves right now. *seriously, not a dime..*
So if I abslutely cannot wait til payday (another week away *gasp*)
what might I do? I don't know that I can sufficiently wrap my hands
in plastic wrap. Is that even possible??
