Hair is dead and hair growth occurs inside the skin in the hair follicle. Rogaine can help people that have problems with their follicles. Damaging your hair from dyes/bleach etc. may cause your hair to fall out but that won't prevent new hair from growing. Personally, I think henna is great. It has thickened up my hair and lends it a beautiful shine. But, if you have a skin disorder or alopecia (balding) then Please, please, plase go see a dermatologist to find out what is going on before adding henna or rogaine or anything else to your head. Then, once the doctor determines the problem and the treatment of that then henna would probably be ok to use but I would ask him or her about henna and any reactions to the treatment. If you are losing hair from chemical damage and abuse then read up on henna from the home page becuase you may not want to mix it with already color treated hair. Good luck and see a dermatologist, Jade
