After wrapping it in Saran wrap I usually put a towel on top to keep body heat in and even with cold henna from the start it will get warm quite soon from the trapped body heat. The (small) advantage you'd have from warm henna is that it wouldn't need to be initially heated by your body and would be warm on your head a little longer (and potentially release a little more dye). With four hours processing time I've never seen a difference between cold and warm henna - it's possible that it would have some small effect if you leave it in shorter time. /Fia
