: : : Hello Nash,
: I am also Asian with black hair getting grey ( about 20% grey). I
: used henna 2 times in Sep. and Oct 2004. I used henna from Catherine
: with lemon juice . All the grey hair came out orange red but the
: black hair is still black with a little shade of red . One day after
: I used henna , my friend at work ( another Asian) asked me : " Did
: you have your hair highlighted? Where ? I really like it. " When I
: told her I just used henna , she said it she would wait 3 months for
: her chemical dye to fade and then she would use henna .
: I myself like it a lot. Instead of grey hair now I have some red
: hair mix in with the black. I have an advice : to be sure you get
: good henna , just buy from Catherine . You can order buy phone or
: send a personal check. Check her web site at mehandịcom. It maybe a
: little expensive but it is worth it.

My hair is brown with some gray streaks. I recently added walnut to my mix, about
4 parts henna to 2 walnut to 1 cloves, and showed it to a friend and she told me I
finally got the color right. The gray hairs still look to me like sparkling red in the
sun, but I don't see red right so I asked her. I'll get a picture up sometime -
perhaps a few days after I henna it next.

How did you get that odd character? I looked it up in Unicode and it's an 'i' with a
dot underneath.
