On the LUSH henna:

Once the henna has been mixed with water, I believe you should not
be in contact with metal. At least that is what was recommended on
the Lush boards.

I love the Noir, because my hair is dark brown, almost black. Used
regular henna for years, but it is too red for my color. If I use
the henna/indigo process, it is double the application process,
mess, cost, etc. With the Noir, I put it on once, leave in for
hours (usually 4 - 8), then beautiful results. The only problem
with the Lush is the $$$ for postage to here (Hawaii) as the only
option is UPS express!!!

Experimented once last week with my own recipe of indigo, cocoa
butter, henna, irish moss powder, clove bud oil. Came close, but
will have to try again, when I have a chance to play around with it
some more...
