I havent tried them myself, but I have read several reviews that said
they were really hard to get in a lather - you need to break off a
corner and lather it in your hands before applying it to hair. The
general consensus was "frustrating" if I remember correctly - I dont
know what they said about the cleansing properties though.
Im not sure if you are trying to rinse out the henna, or save it from
fading, but if the former I suggest using a shampoo that you dilute
in an empty bottle and shake up to make it foam. Works great for
me!
