I just found some henna in: my old "beauty box", it is possibly 3 years old. Can it still be : used or do i better get some new for best red results? Toss it. Henna can be stored at room temperature for about two weeks before it's dying or dead, and can be kept in the freezer for a year or so without dying. What you've got is completely dead, I'd bet.
