I finally hennaed last nightin fact! I've been meaning to for a month now, but things kept happening. grr. Anyhow, once the henna is mushed in good and proper, I sort of just mush and mold it into a roundish shape over my head (my hair is just beyond shoulder length). Once I do that I then wrap it in plastic (I really like that stuff that press and seal stuff, it controls better than regular plastic wrap). Now I don't have a beard of course, so I can't tip you on that =). But I then grab some pre-designated thin material (I use an old sarong that is sort of hennae coloured anyway and made of rayon) and turban it over my plastic mushmold head. I also place a towel over my pillows, but my pillows are pre-designated at henna "ok". They are silk and take the colour beautifully anyway. In the morning, I just lift it all off and hop in the shower to begin the removal process. I got up this morning around 9, got hair henna free and was at work in just under an hour! In the interest of full disclosure, yes, my forehead has some orange spots. I'm afraid to look behind my ears. And we salsaed and chachaed tonight, so while sweating I started to smell of intense summer hay. haha! peace, txilar : A few days ago I hennaed my hair again and decided to go to sleep : instead of rinse it off after two hours. I woke up around 4 that : morning, not sure if I had turned at all, and carefully turned, and : a while later rinsed it off. I got raves about how dark my once gray : hair is getting, but is there a better way than wrapping my head, : including forehead and lower lip, in plastic?
